Facebook can’t do ANYTHING about this page

Why?

Because they aren’t hosting it. Other than on Facebook itself they have no power over the other pages on the internet.

Could they blackball me for saying so? Sure. On Facebook and any site who cares more about doing business with FB than with me.

Would that hurt my traffic? Hell yeah. Facebook is huge. But I’m still going to be here.

Could they choose to exclude links to this page from Facebook? Yep. But they won’t, because I’m not going to do them even a tiny bit of harm by making these observations.

Facebook making the decision to curate the content they host isn’t a violation of the 1st Amendment. It’s not going to change the rest of the internet (unless that kind of thing is somehow monetized). If you don’t like how they run their site…don’t use it.

Just, for goodness’ sake, stop complaining about it and comparing it to Fascism.

PS- All of this applies in full and Equal measure to Twitter. And they’ll NEVER flag this as fake news or remove it for violating the Terms of Service, either.
